PERFORMANCE & HANDLING: The shift from traditional shaft drives in the Series I to the Volvo Penta IPS 400s pod drives in the Series II is the most significant upgrade, offering "sport" performance and an immediate "holeshot" (acceleration). The joystick control is a standard feature and makes docking and maneuvering in tight marinas intuitive for novices and experienced boaters alike. The boat has a dignified, smooth straight-line cruise.

QUIET AND EFFICIENT OPERATION: The IPS system, with its underwater exhausts, results in a "wonderfully quiet boat, " allowing for conversation in the saloon as if in a family car. This system also offers substantial fuel savings (up to 30% better cruising range) compared to the previous D6 shaft model.

DESGN & ACCOMODATION : The pivotal design feature is the large, vertically-opening glass window and sliding door that create a seamless transition between the cockpit and the single-level saloon/galley area.
The aft cabin in the Series II is full-beam with a double and a single bed, more spacious than the twin singles in the original model. The forward master stateroom features a comfortable island bed and good headroom.
